We talk alot about the fact that Saint Romeo exists on the basis of extending our personal values into our little business. We do make it our big business, however, to make sure that everything we do in every corner of our operation is conscious and considerate of the planet as a whole. Ensuring that our thinking is driven around what our environment looks like in generations to come, protecting animals, our oceans and partnering with like-minded businesses and people who share our values.

Here are just a few things we take very seriously.

It's 100% natural which means its excellent on your skin and the environment.
It's 100% vegan which means that there are no animal derivatives or anything the little guys produce.
It's 100% cruelty-free. We leave testing to humans old enough to trial.

Saint Romeo is a 100% Australian owned business.
The product is manufactured in small batches locally.
We partner with local businesses only.

ALL OF OUR PACKAGING IS 100% RECYCLABLE
We use amber glass bottles for 4 out of 5 products.
The only plastic bottle we use is absolutely recyclable.
We use Hero Packaging for all of our satchels and shipping labels. Their materials are plant-based.
Our postage boxes are sourced locally and are FSC certified.

PRINTING
Printing partners of choice are Sydney based and produce eco-friendly stickers and labels that are 100% recyclable.

SHIPPING
We use Australia Post for domestic deliveries. They have an excellent sustainability roadmap and are committed to the offset of carbon emissions.
Sendle courier international goods. These guys are a B-Corp who take their commitment to the environment very seriously.

We care about the entire planet, and are extremely passionate about our oceans.

Led by research and the revelations around the absolute devastation that waste has on our oceans, we made a promise to minimise our impact. Plastic, labelling, waste - the thought process has been continuously leaning into the heart of the matter. We knew that responsible and conscious skincare that was housed in considerate packaging had the greatest potential to do our bit to protect our oceans. After all, our children and future generations need it just as much as we do.

And so for this reason, we support the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) with a $1 donation from each sale.

The AMCS is Australia’s only independent national charity dedicated solely to protecting our oceans. A community of ocean lovers across the nation working for healthy seas for all Australians, AMCS is staffed by a committed group of scientists, educators and passionate advocates who have defended Australia’s oceans for over 55 years. As the guardians and the voice for marine life, they work hard on the big issues that risk our ocean habitats.

The AMCS have protected critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef. They have also led the movement to ban whaling, stop super-trawlers, and protected threatened and endangered species like the Australian Sea Lion.
